The Good : Looks very swish and goes well with a modern-type kitchen. Controls are good, and I like the fact that each hob has its own control (some cheaper models do not). Extremely easy to clean, which was one of the main reasons for buying it instead of another gas hob.Boils exceptionally fast for a hob.
The Bad : Takes a while to get used to the amount of heat from the settlngs - 1 to 9 in half increments.Quite expensive. Excellent for slow cooking sauces and keeping food warm until ready to serve. Don't let pans boil over, as I did, which wets the touch control and the whole thing shuts down. This is soon resolved by using kitchen roll to wipe up and turning the wall switch off, then on.Takes a while to get used to after cooking with gas all my life, custard and scrambled eggs being the hardest. I found that it was best to start with a highist heat setting (6) then reduce once the pan has got hot. It is best to watch over everything until you get the hang of it.
